What We're About
The purpose of this ministry is to help the men of Ewtonville Baptist Church as they grow to an adult level of spiritual maturity—through prayer, discipleship, serving others, and fellowship.
The Bible calls us to make disciples. After regeneration has clearly taken place in a man’s life, it is the responsibility of mature Christian men to help these new Christians to understand the importance of spiritual growth and to aid them in reaching this goal.
Our desire is to see our fellow brothers in the Lord become servant leaders within the church, as well as in their own homes. Our goal is to teach the men of the church to become grounded in the doctrines of God’s living word, use their spiritual gifts to serve God, and to hold one another accountable. In doing so, we will encourage one another to become the spiritual adults and servant leaders that God wants us to be.
We pray that men of all ages will desire to join with us as our Heavenly Father conforms us to the image of His only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Charlie is originally from upstate New York and is the youngest of seven children. He and his older brothers and sisters were not raised in a Godly home, which had a negative impact on him for many years.
But God revealed to Charlie that living for the world—and in darkness—was not what He wanted for him, and Charlie finally gave his life to the Lord in 2001, the same year he met his wife Sandee—who also gave her heart to the Lord that year. It was a challenge—and a blessing—raising their two children in a blended family. Together they are an example of how we serve a God of second chances.
Message from the Leader
If you are looking at this section of our website, then you must be interested in what God is calling you to do as a man of God—and what Ewtonville Baptist Church is doing within this ministry. If you are like us, you are tired, maybe even frustrated—and you want a revival in your heart, in your home, in your church, and in your community. I believe our mission statement says it all.
However, this Men's group is about "real men getting real". We have a passion to become true disciples of Jesus Christ. We fight our battles on our knees every Sunday night as we come together in prayer. We are not afraid to admit our sins to one another, to pray for one another, to lay hands on one another, and to love one another.
We continue to see God working through each and every one of us; and we see God's work in this ministry. We invite you to join us as we step out boldly—to lead together as brothers in Christ—to accomplish the mission that God has placed before us.— Men's Ministry Leader, Charlie York
